Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome at Tribhuvan International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Evening briefing about the tour and permit requirements.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Kerung Border
Early morning drive to Kerung Border (160km). Complete immigration formalities. Overnight at Kerung.
Day 3: Kerung to Tingri
Drive to Tingri (4,300m). En route, visit Milarepa Cave. Acclimatization walk in Tingri.
Day 4: Tingri to Everest Base Camp
Visit Everest Base Camp (5,200m). Spectacular views of Mt. Everest. Visit Rongbuk Monastery. Return to Tingri.
Day 5: Tingri to Shigatse
Drive to Shigatse (3,900m). Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, seat of Panchen Lama.
Day 6: Shigatse to Gyantse to Lhasa
Visit Gyantse Kumbum. Drive to Lhasa via Yamdrok Lake. Evening free time in Lhasa.
Day 7: Lhasa Sightseeing
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Market. Experience Tibetan culture and traditions.
Day 8: Departure from Lhasa
Transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport for departure. Tour concludes.
